Our Services

At HEARRT, we offer a full circle of care designed to meet the unique needs of schools, students, families, and the wider community. Our services include individual and family counseling to support mental health and healing; restorative justice circles and training that help schools build positive, inclusive environments; classroom-based social-emotional learning lessons that give students practical tools to manage emotions and relationships; and professional development for educators focused on trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices. We also provide crisis response and intervention when schools or families need urgent support, as well as workshops, groups, and community wellness events that bring people together to learn, heal, and grow. Every service is designed to remove barriers to care, strengthen relationships, and create safe, thriving schools across the Inland Empire.

Restorative Circles

Restorative Circles create a safe, structured space where students, educators, and community members can come together to share experiences, build understanding, and repair harm. Guided by trained facilitators, circles promote open dialogue, accountability, and empathy — helping schools address conflict in ways that strengthen relationships rather than divide them. Whether used proactively to build community or responsively to resolve challenges, restorative circles teach valuable skills in communication, respect, and problem-solving. By centering student voice and collective responsibility, they support healthier school climates and empower participants to be active contributors to a positive, connected community.

We Serve

The HEARRT Program was created out of a shared vision: to respond to the growing mental health needs of youth and families in our communities while reducing barriers to care. Many schools and families across the Inland Empire face challenges such as limited access to counseling, rising rates of trauma and stress, and the urgent need for restorative, culturally grounded approaches to discipline and wellness.

HEARRT began in Rialto as a collaboration of schools, mental health professionals, and community-based organizations. Together, we saw the need for a program that not only provides direct services, but also builds school-wide capacity for healing and equity. What started as a local initiative has grown into a regional effort to make schools and communities safer, healthier, and more connected.

We serve:

  • Students in elementary, middle, and high schools who need individual or group support to manage stress, trauma, or behavioral challenges.

  • Families seeking counseling, workshops, or connections to community resources.

  • Educators & Schools looking for professional development, restorative practices training, or in-classroom SEL (social emotional learning) support.

  • Communities throughout the Inland Empire, working together to create safe and affirming environments where youth can thrive.

At HEARRT, we believe that healing is not just an individual process but a collective one. By investing in schools, families, and communities, we are creating a network of support that empowers the next generation and renews the spirit of our region.
